With much help from all you amazing people out there, it is finally finished! Thank you all for your suggestions on the blade's coloring.
(Apologies to those who favorited the incomplete image, please pay attention to this one instead. XD)
A concept work for JonnyBlackmage ( ) and Dreamland Messenger ( ), for their story Pandemonium.
I sketched my idea of their specter (anthropomorphic personification, if you want to get technical) of Death earlier, and had promised to do a cleaner, more understandable version. Thus, this resulted.
Yes, he's very effeminate. Their version of Death struck me as effeminate, and was thereby drawn as such. XD

Inked with Microns on printer paper. Tried a new technique of accented lines, can you tell? Scanned (Thank you, Father!), and colored in OpenCanvas. Don't know how long it took.
XD Hahahahaha, thanks? I'm not too sure about the skull, but that was part of the design. Personally, I prefer that Death's scythe has a hanging lantern.
I think the skull is a neat touch. It kind of creates a raven skull effect with the scythe which is strangely creepy. A lattern, though, is just as cool.
Maybe.... ooh you could do a lattern with a skull on it 8D
Nice job! The only thing I notice is the shifting light source depending on where you look at the guy...other than that, it's awesome.

Reality is determined. Do so with great digression, for some day reality as perceived may crumble with a great and thunderous crash. When that day arrives, I fear, the world will look to those around it and cry out, having missed its chance to be redeemed
A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
In this article you will find many thumbnails of the sun in different forms, all photography featured here by the club feature-me. Please show your support for these artists and their work and the article so that more people can see their work.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
